Boat Tours
Thanks to the good folks at the Anacostia Riverkeeper and Anacostia Watershed Society, boat tours will leave from the Center Dock at 5:15, 5:45, and 6:15 pm at no charge. You can arrive early and sign-up for a later tour if you like or just show up closer to the best time for you and your family. Please be prepared to sign a waiver prior to boarding the boat. I will be going for a boat ride and would love to show you some of the exciting ways we are improving the health of our river.

Kayak and Pedal Kayak Rentals 
We are grateful to everyone at Capital SUP for offering Ward 6 residents a discounted price to rent a kayak or double kayak (great for a parent and a child) of $10 for 30 minutes in the water - there is no formal tour, but I will be taking a ride in a kayak and would love for you to join me.  For all rentals, a life jacket will be provided. They also offer pedalboards, which I've been told are kind of like a water-based elliptical machine and look forward to seeing in action. If you can, please try to save the double kayak rentals for parents and children or those who might need a second rider to enjoy the experience safely.

If you have your own kayak, you are welcome to bring it along and use it at no-charge. Please note reservations close at 4 pm tomorrow. Depending on availability, you can certainly try to rent one tomorrow without a reservation.
